These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and Trastvold Logistics LP ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a corporation registered in Canada with VAT number 815049286 RT 0001, operating from 150 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 3H9, Canada.
By accessing and using our website, services, and any related platforms (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our Services immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
Trastvold Logistics LP specializes in heavy haul logistics, specialized equipment transportation, and related logistics services throughout Canada and North America. Our services are provided in accordance with applicable federal, provincial, and territorial transportation regulations, including the National Safety Code (NSC) and provincial motor vehicle acts.
All quotations, proposals, and service descriptions are subject to confirmation and availability. We reserve the right to decline any shipment that does not comply with safety regulations, environmental laws, or our operational standards.
To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into binding contracts. If you are acting on behalf of a business or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when requesting quotes, booking services, or communicating with us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials or authorization codes provided by us.
All cargo transported by Trastvold Logistics LP must be:
You warrant that you own or have the legal right to transport all cargo and that all information provided regarding cargo description, weight, dimensions, and contents is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to inspect cargo, refuse transport, or discontinue service if we have reasonable grounds to believe the shipment violates these requirements or applicable law.
Trastvold Logistics LP maintains comprehensive commercial liability and cargo insurance in accordance with Canadian transportation regulations. However, our insurance covers only standard loss or damage during transit under normal operating conditions.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the transportation of cargo, including loss, damage, delay, or non-delivery, shall be limited to the lesser of (i) the actual value of the cargo or (ii) the amount specified in our service agreement, not to exceed CAD $100,000 per shipment unless higher coverage is specifically purchased and agreed in writing.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Claims for loss or damage must be reported to us in writing within 10 business days of service completion. Failure to report within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the claim.
All quoted prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable federal and provincial taxes (GST/HST) unless otherwise stated. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless extended in writing.
Payment Terms: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full upon service completion or invoice issuance. We accept wire transfers, certified checks, and major credit cards. Invoices are due within net 30 days for established business accounts.
Late payments will accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% annually) or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with overdue balances exceeding 30 days.
Additional charges may apply for fuel surcharges, tolls, border crossings, special equipment, permits, or services outside the scope of the original quote. We will notify you of any such charges before proceeding with service.
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a signed service agreement and deposit or full payment, as required. We will provide you with a confirmation email containing booking details, equipment specifications, and expected delivery timeframe.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event of force majeure circumstances (severe weather, mechanical failure, regulatory closure, or similar unavoidable circumstances), we will work with you to reschedule service at no additional charge, subject to availability.
Estimated delivery dates and timeframes provided by Trastvold Logistics LP are based on normal operating conditions and are provided as estimates only, not guarantees. We make reasonable efforts to meet these timelines but do not warrant that services will be completed by any specific date.
Delays due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, regulatory inspections, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not constitute a breach of these Terms. We will keep you informed of significant delays and provide updated delivery estimates when available.
Time-sensitive shipments require special arrangement and premium rates. Time-guaranteed services are available only upon written agreement and payment of specified fees.
All drivers employed by or contracted with Trastvold Logistics LP are properly licensed, trained, and comply with hours-of-service regulations established by Canadian transportation authorities. All equipment is regularly maintained and inspected in accordance with National Safety Code standards and applicable provincial regulations.
We maintain comprehensive safety protocols and require all drivers to undergo background checks and hold valid driver's licenses appropriate to the cargo being transported. Safety is our highest priority, and we reserve the right to refuse any service that does not meet our safety standards.
Your privacy is important to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes contact information, shipping details, and payment information necessary to provide our Services.
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties except as required by law or as necessary to fulfill our services (e.g., to customs authorities for border crossings).
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Trastvold Logistics LP or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.
You may use this content solely for your personal, non-commercial reference. Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or transmission of content without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trastvold Logistics LP, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (i) your use of our Services; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of applicable law; or (iv) the cargo transported at your request, including its legality, safety, or compliance with regulations.

You are responsible for ensuring that all cargo complies with applicable export/import regulations, trade restrictions, and sanctions. Trastvold Logistics LP is not liable for customs delays, holds, or seizures.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the Canadian Arbitration Association, with arbitration conducted in Calgary, Alberta.
You agree to waive your right to pursue litigation in court and to pursue claims only through binding arbitration, except for claims seeking injunctive relief or enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Any claim arising from our Services must be initiated within one year of the date the claim accrued. Claims initiated after this period are barred and cannot be pursued.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with any service agreements, quotations, and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Trastvold Logistics LP regarding our Services and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements, whether written or oral.
